3m no-till cultivator why LUPUS production?
No-till cultivation is gaining in popularity, which is not surprising as this way of farming has numerous benefits for farmers. The 3m no-till cultivator is often the first step towards no- till cultivation on the farm.
3 rows of Delta-flex or Horsh tines – 3m LUPUS no-till cultivator.
The machine has a standard working width of 3.0 metres, but it is possible to adjust it to a width of 2.5 metres by unscrewing the outermost tines that are attached to the frame. This flexibility allows the machine to be adapted to different conditions and user needs.
The 2 cultivation systems we have developed, i.e. the Horsh system and the Delta-flex system, are distinguished by differences in height, tine characteristics and angle of attack. In both of these systems, the key element is the main part, the horsh-post, to which the ‘right and left’ undercuts are attached. Thanks to this diversity of systems, the user has the possibility to adapt the machine to the specific terrain and type of cultivation, which influences the efficiency and versatility of the machine.
LUPUS no-till cultivator – tines on a spring protection device
The LUPUS no-till cultivator has 10 tines with complete mounting, evenly spaced every 300mm in 3 rows, while the 2.5m width has 8 tines. In order to increase the rigidity of the tines, we have used 2 springs, mounted counter-rotating on a specially developed drag bar mount. This spring protection is one side fixed in sliding sleeves made of iglidur Q2 – one of the strongest sliding materials, resistant to high loads and surface pressures. It also has a low coefficient of friction, effectively dampens vibrations and is resistant to contamination from field work.
On the other side of the spring, we have a non-stop safety and lubrication mount and, finally, a plain nut + self-locking counter-nut. The whole thing is bolted to a specially developed and very robust mount that is bolted to the frame. For this, we pull from Italy a special spring protection clamp that fits the 100x100x8 frame of our ploughless machine. It has special grooves for rainwater and is very solidly made compared to those available in the country.
Tightening to the frame gives us many advantages, such as the possible replacement of a damaged tooth and positioning according to our guidelines.
No-till cultivator 3m what is the weight ?
Thanks to the robust construction of the frame made of 100x100x8 profile, the machine is prepared to carry heavy loads and can effectively cope with difficult field conditions. Triangular reinforcements, spurs and sheet metal overlays provide effective protection against deflection and deformation. In addition, the turret has been designed with strength and aesthetics in mind, combining structural robustness with a unique design. V-shaped lashings with side reinforcements and a top coupling plate guarantee the stability and durability of the machine. All pins and bolts have been fitted with safeguards to effectively prevent them from rotating. The 3m no-till unit with a 600mm top roller weighs 2250kg
The devil is in the detail.
We used ratchet actuators to adjust the working depth for precise positioning..
The machine opted for maintenance-free disc hubs from a renowned Italian manufacturer. The discs, meanwhile, are made from high-grade boron steel. This choice of materials and components is intended to ensure the reliability and durability of the machine, which is crucial in intensive agricultural work.
No-till cultivator 3m power requirement.
No-till cultivator 3m the power requirement for efficient operation of the LUPUS no-till cultivator can vary considerably depending on the soil conditions. On light soil, a value of around 150-170 hp may be sufficient, but on very heavy soil, more powerful tractors are recommended, even by an additional 100 hp. It is worth emphasising that the right choice of tractor power has a significant impact not only on working speed, but also on the quality and efficiency of the agricultural work carried out.
