Trailed headers – an ideal replacement for the swather ?

As early as spring, farmers make their choice of harvesting method – single or two-phase harvesting. Two-phase harvesting is becoming increasingly popular in Polish fields. For supporters of this harvesting method, we have a suggestion of machines,:

and a tractor trailed header that performs the same function as a swather.

Working width of the swather is 5m

Tractor trailed harvesting headers are aggregated with agricultural tractors and are used for mowing wheat, rye, barley, oilseed rape, but also various types of permanent crops and laying them into a roller. The width of the swath left behind is approximately 1.5m, and the frequency of rotation can be adjusted to ensure optimum working conditions.
